Food Nanny's Red and White Mostaccioli
My kids love this!
1 lb tubular pasta
1 26 oz jar spaghetti sauce
3 cups mozzarella cheese (The Italian cheese blend is really good too)
Alfredo Sauce
Alfredo Sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1 3 oz pkg cream cheese
1 pint heavy cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Cook pasta. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in a 9x13 pan. Layer 1/2 pasta, 1/2 alfredo sauce, 1/2 spaghetti sauce and 1/2 cheese. Repeat. Cover with foil. Bake at 350F for 30 mins.
